DMCA Policy & Copyright Takedown Notice
Last Updated: January 31, 2026
IPTV Ireland 4K Irish ("we," "our," or "us") respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of our IPTV Ireland service to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) of 1998, the European Union Directive on Copyright in the Digital Single Market (2019/790), and Ireland's Copyright and Related Rights Act 2000 (as amended), we will respond expeditiously to valid claims of copyright infringement reported to our designated copyright agent.
1. Overview of Our DMCA Policy
This policy explains how copyright holders can submit a notice of alleged copyright infringement to us, how affected users can submit a counter-notification, and how we handle repeat infringers. We comply fully with the DMCA's "notice and takedown" provisions under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c) and similar provisions of Irish and European copyright law.
Please read this policy carefully before submitting any notice. Knowingly submitting a false DMCA notice or counter-notice may result in civil and criminal liability under Section 512(f) of the DMCA.
2. Our Role as a Service Provider
IPTV Ireland operates as an intermediary subscription service provider. We provide access to streaming services through M3U URLs, Xtream Codes, and similar protocols. We do not own, produce, host, store, transmit, or have direct control over the content streams that are made available through third-party servers and providers.
All content broadcast through our service is sourced from third-party content providers, broadcasters, and rights holders. We act in good faith to ensure that the streams we aggregate originate from sources that have claimed appropriate distribution rights. However, we cannot independently verify the licensing status of every individual stream at every moment.
If you believe that material accessible through our service infringes your copyright, please follow the DMCA notice procedure outlined below. Upon receipt of a valid notice, we will work with our upstream content providers to investigate and, where appropriate, remove or disable access to the infringing material.
3. Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice
If you are a copyright owner (or authorised to act on behalf of a copyright owner) and you believe in good faith that material accessible through our service infringes your copyright, you may submit a written DMCA notice to our designated copyright agent.
Required Elements of a Valid DMCA Notice
To be valid under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), your notice must include all six of the following elements:
- Physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or an authorised representative.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed. If multiple works are involved, provide a representative list.
- Identification of the infringing material with sufficient detail to allow us to locate it — including specific URLs, channel names, stream identifiers, dates, and times.
- Your contact information — full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement of good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law. Use this exact language: "I have a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law."
- A statement of accuracy under penalty of perjury. Use this exact language: "I swear, under penalty of perjury, that the information in this notification is accurate and that I am the copyright owner or am authorised to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed."
Where to Send Your DMCA Notice
Send your completed DMCA notice to our Designated Copyright Agent using the contact details in Section 7 below. Incomplete notices will not be processed and will be returned to you for correction.
4. Counter-Notification Procedure
If you are a user whose content or stream access has been removed or disabled in response to a DMCA notice, and you believe in good faith that the removal was the result of mistake or misidentification, you may submit a DMCA counter-notification.
Required Elements of a Valid Counter-Notice
Your counter-notification must be in writing and include all five of the following:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed or disabled, including its location before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your full name, address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland (or, where applicable, the United States District Court for the judicial district in which you are located), and that you will accept service of process from the original complainant or their agent.
Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to the original complainant. If the complainant does not file a court action seeking an injunction within 10 to 14 business days, we may restore the removed material at our discretion.
5. Repeat Infringer Policy
In accordance with 17 U.S.C. § 512(i), we have adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of subscribers who are repeat infringers of copyright. A "repeat infringer" is defined as any subscriber who has been the subject of multiple valid DMCA notices, or any subscriber whose conduct demonstrates a pattern of copyright infringement.
- We maintain an internal log of all valid DMCA complaints received.
- Accounts associated with two or more substantiated copyright complaints within a 12-month period are subject to immediate termination without refund.
- Terminated subscribers may not create new accounts to circumvent this policy. Doing so will result in permanent IP and email blacklisting.
- Termination decisions under this policy are not subject to our standard refund policy.
6. Warning Against False or Misleading Notices
Section 512(f) of the DMCA imposes legal liability — including monetary damages, court costs, and attorneys' fees — on any person who knowingly makes a material misrepresentation in a takedown notice or counter-notification.
Before submitting any notice to us, we strongly recommend that you:
• Verify that you own or are authorised to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright at issue.
• Consider whether the use of the material may qualify as fair use, fair dealing, or other lawful use under applicable copyright law.
• Consult with a qualified intellectual property attorney if you are uncertain.
We reserve the right to forward all notices to the affected user and to Lumen Database (formerly Chilling Effects) for public archival.
7. Designated Copyright Agent

9. Third-Party Apps and Players
Our service is accessed through third-party IPTV applications and players such as TiviMate, IPTV Smarters Pro, Smart IPTV, IBO Player, and similar applications. We do not own or develop these applications. If your DMCA concern relates specifically to the functionality, behaviour, or content of a third-party app, you should contact the developer of that app directly.
For more information about our relationship with third-party apps, see our setup guides and refund policy.
10. Fair Use, Fair Dealing & Lawful Use
Copyright law in the United States (fair use), the United Kingdom and Ireland (fair dealing), and the European Union (lawful exceptions) recognises various circumstances in which copyrighted material may be lawfully used without the rights holder's permission — including for purposes of criticism, review, news reporting, teaching, research, parody, and quotation.
Before submitting a DMCA notice, we encourage you to consider whether the use of the material may fall within one of these exceptions. If you are unsure, please consult a qualified intellectual property attorney.
